How to use Bounding Boxes
Draw: Click and drag on the grid canvas to draw a new bounding box.
Select: Click any box to select it. The selected box shows resize handles.
Resize: Drag the handles at the edges and corners to adjust sizes.
Move: Click and drag from the center of a box to reposition it.
Aspect Ratio: Resize the canvas resolution using top presets or dragging the bottom-right corner handle.
Zoom: Scroll the mousewheel over the workspace to zoom in/out of the canvas.
Pan: Hold down the middle-mouse button (scroll wheel click) or hold the Spacebar and drag with left-click to move the canvas around.
Object vs. Text Elements
Object (Obj): Describe the items inside the box (e.g. a red mug).
Text: Specify the literal text (e.g. OPEN) and details about the text appearance (e.g. written in cursive script, white neon glowing sign). In the generated JSON, it will be automatically formatted as: The text 'OPEN' in cursive script, white neon glowing sign.
Color Conditioning
Click the (+) icon at the bottom-left of any box to open the color selector.
Choose a curated preset color, or click custom to use a hex code.
Right-click (or click the 'x' on hover) on any color blotch to remove it.
Colors from boxes are aggregated into the global JSON color palette. You can also add styles and palettes in the sidebar.
Tracing Assistance
Upload a reference image using the Guide Image button in the bottom-left of the canvas to trace your layout.
Adjust the image opacity and brightness inside the Guide Image Settings section in the properties sidebar.
